Root canals; are they bad, unhealthy, dangerous?

 

If you insert the description of poorly done, bacterially contaminated, poorly sealed and leaking in front of the words root canal, the answer is probably yes.  

 

The evidence for this premise is based on almost five decades of opening up over five thousand previously done root canal treatments and just looking or worse smelling the disgusting bacterial contamination inside.  

 

For the record: There are many very good root canal specialists and some general dentists who do good root canals on the teeth that need them at a very high standard that can save those natural teeth for a lifetime.
